Visiting the local Ruby on Rails users group has paid off in a very big way. Tom Chapin made a visit to the local Ruby group meeting in March and had the chance to meet David Koontz (Blog). David has signed onto the project, filling our development role, and has already moved into the same office building with us. We’re very excited and can’t wait to officially begin development. That will happen sometime in the next few weeks.

David’s background is in game development and he has been working with Ruby on Rails for several years now. In his spare time he plays ice hockey. Welcome, David!
